Dear Member of the deaf and hard of hearing community.

As you know, there is a bill in Illinois' legislature to require licensure of interpreters. It is called Senate Bill 2292. It  passed the Illinois Senate and is now in the Illinois House. However, the Illinois House will let it die in their Rules  Committee unless WE ACT NOW!

It is IMPORTANT to mail or fax letter to the rules committee that SB2292 need to get out of the Rules Committee.

Please fax or mail this sample letter to fifteen (15) house representatives NOW before the bill 2292 dies. The ten house representatives that you should fax or mail the letter as listed below::

5. You will get a list of names of your legislators
