The Illinois State-Wide Bulletin is the official publication of the Illinois Association of the Deaf.  It is published four times a year; there will a fifth "Special" issue during the years IAD has a conference.

We welcome letters, articles, information and advertisements. The Editor reserves the right to edit contributions and refuse the publication of contents that conflict with the Illinois Association of the Deaf. Contributions that are printed do not necessarily mean they are endorsed by the IAD. Anonymous contributions cannot be printed.

State-Wide Bulletin prints articles on matters of interest and concern to the membership.  Submissions should be 300 words or less or be subjected to editing.  Please contact the Editor if you require more space.  Any submission, which does not meet the editorial guidelines listed here or which is deemed inappropriate by the Editor and/or the Board will not be published.  All submissions must have a name and address that is reachable by the Editor.  Unsigned articles will not be published, however, name and address can be withheld upon request.

LETTER TO THE BOARD:
Letters should be 200 words or less. Submissions to "Letters" section should be sent to the Editor (following the same guidelines as listed above) at letters@iadeaf.org

Not more than one letter per writer will be published in a single issue. SWB reserves the right to limit the quantity and frequency of letters published in Illinois State-Wide Bulletin written by a single author(s).

Unsigned letters will not be published, although a name and address can be withheld on request of the writer as long as the Editor knows the identity of the writer and there is a valid reason for the withholding.

Letters which do not meet these guidelines, or which are not appropriate to the purposes of "Letters," may be edited or remain unpublished.

IAD reserves the right to edit, excerpt, or refuse to publish any submission.

Any late submissions will be deferred to the next issue

Advertisement Rates:

Advertising copy must be camera-ready in black and white for scan-copying. It must include   any graphics or logos used. Please do not fold or staple ad copy or attach paper clips; please mail in a flat envelope with cardboard or rigid insert. Electronically submitted ads must be in the following formats: EPS or TIFF. All fonts and images/logos must be included. Any ads missing fonts,  graphics and/or other formats specified will cause a processing delay; a delay in processing may mean the ad might be deferred to the next issue.
